I’m Colin, a flight instructor, examiner and former A320 Captain. In September 2023 I started DIRECT-TO SIMULATION with the aim of making informal flight simulator training accessible and affordable.

I started using a flight simulator as a wannabe airline pilot some thirty years ago. It proved to be an invaluable learning tool and put me in good stead for the training ahead. As an airline pilot I was in a flight simulator for two days every six months sharpening the skills I never used & hoped I would never need.
